Productive Saturday

Yesterday was productive. It was a Saturday and rather than spend the day relaxing, we decided to fill it with things that needed to get done! First things first... family pictures! We did a spring shoot outdoors at Castaway Island Preserve in Jax beach. Our photographer, Danielle of Danielle Jane Photography, was really nice and I think she captured some great shots! I can't wait to see them in about two weeks! She got lots of the four of us, and even took some of just Ryan and I! Oh and we can't forget the real life pictures she took of Ashlyn picking her nose and one of her throwing a tantrum! The little things in life right! It was so bright outside that Jaymee was struggling to keep his eyes open. Poor baby! It was hard on all of us but I felt really bad for him!

After pictures we came home and Ryan (with a little help from me) put up a new outdoor ceiling fan only to take it back down because the website lied to us! We were expecting a lot more power!! Grrr! We still managed to hang a new screen on the lanai and get some yard work accomplished as well!

We put together Jaymee's Baby Einstein jumper that used to be Ashlyn's and of course when we weren't looking she climbed in! A little to big now! I will post a picture of that excursion soon!

Jaymee is becoming a lot more vocal these days! I got him to laugh out loud by tickling his little feet and sticking them in his mouth! His laugh is so adorable!

We closed out the evening by going to get mexican food at Casa Maria's. There are only a handful of restaurants that we can take Ashlyn into without her losing interest before the food is on the table. Mexican restaurants work out great because she is a fan of the chips and salsa! Oh... and dumping the salt and pepper shakers on the table! Silly girl!

Yesterday was a good day.
